Rapper Mun G is in mourning following the death of his brother, Matovu Henry, who passed away during a surgical procedure in the United States.
According to a message shared by the artist on X, Henry—also known by friends as Muzeeyi and Kevo—died at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California after experiencing complications during heart surgery.
Sharing his grief, Mun G described his brother as not only a sibling but also a close friend and confidant, expressing how deeply the loss has shaken his family.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of my brother, my friend and confidant Matovu Henry, also known as Muzeeyi and Kevo, who passed on yesterday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California following complications arising from heart surgery,” he wrote.
He further noted that despite the doctors’ best efforts, they were unable to save him, adding that the family takes solace in the care he received during his final moments.
“I am heartbroken, and my entire family is devastated, but we believe he fought bravely and the medical team did everything possible,” he added.
