Goodlyfe singer Weasel Manizo has drawn a comparison between his recent conflict with promoter Nobat and the circumstances leading to the death of colleague Mowzey Radio in 2018.
In a recent statement to the media, Weasel Manizo expressed that his current situation mirrors the tragic events surrounding Mowzey Radio’s demise.
“Such sagas are similar to what led to Mowzey Radio’s death—disappointment and stress. Despite Nobat’s claims of helping me, he only contributed to more stress and depression instead of offering real support,” Manizo said.
The controversy began last week when Weasel Manizo was filmed in a physical altercation with promoter Nobat.
The incident arose from financial disagreements related to their recent Memories of Goodlyfe concert at Hotel Africanna.
Mowzey Radio, whose real name was Nakintijje Moses Ssekibogo, passed away on February 1, 2018, at Case Hospital after being admitted for severe injuries sustained in a bar brawl at ‘De Bar’ in Entebbe.
Police investigations identified a man named Troy as the primary suspect for the assault that led to Radio’s fatal injuries.
