The most decorated hip-hop musician in East Africa is Navio.
But the renowned rapper claims he no longer cares about accolades. He no longer sends in his tunes for review.
Navio claims he is done winning and needs no more proof. He left the prizes for up-and-coming artists who need to put in a lot of work to establish their reputation and grow their fan base.
“As there is nothing to prove, I have lost interest in accolades. In an interview with Galaxy TV, he partially stated, “I made it, and I am actually the most awarded rapper in East Africa.”
With nearly two decades of active music-making under his belt, Navio appears to be here to stay.
