Vampino hits out at Kenzo over Beenie Gunter’s Arrest

The Musician Federation’s chairman, Eddy Kenzo, has come under fire from dancehall artist Vampino for how he handled Beenie Gunter’s recent imprisonment in Abu Dhabi. Kenzo’s public remarks and outreach attempts are acknowledged by Vampino, who also charges him of “acting for the camera” and not taking “real action.”

Claims of vampires When Beenie Gunter’s baby mom couldn’t get through to Kenzo despite assurances of assistance, she got in touch with him. He commends Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool for providing real support in the form of monetary donations. This accusation of passivity clouds Kenzo’s efforts and brings to light the annoyance that some members of the music industry feel.

Having previously been arrested overseas, Vampino highlights the importance of “real action” and opposes “cheap popularity” strategies. His own experience validates his claims, and he advises artists to put more importance on useful assistance than just statements made in public.

Beenie Gunter is now free on bond, although there are still limitations on her travels.
