Speaking in a recent interview, Chris Evans said he had seriously considered joining elective politics, but a certain legislator reached out to him respectfully and asked him not to pursue the seat.

“As musicians we are powerful, and I listened because he sent someone in peace and I reconsidered my interest,” he explained.

The Linda hitmaker shared that although he had the drive to represent his area, fear crept in—especially given the challenges he has faced before.

He recalled a past incident where he was attacked by unknown goons at night, a memory that resurfaced as he weighed the risks tied to politics.

Despite the public curiosity, Chris Evans declined to reveal the identity of the MP who convinced him to step aside. He emphasized that he now prefers to stay away from political competition and instead observe from the sidelines.

The singer says his focus remains on music and keeping his peace, adding that he has no intention of revisiting political ambitions anytime soon.
