After weeks of speculation and earlier reports indicating a postponement, the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) have officially confirmed a new date and an elevated format for the highly anticipated event.
The awards, originally slated for 12th December 2025, will now take place on 19th December 2025 at the Kampala Serena Hotel under a refined and more intimate concept dubbed the ASFA Honorary Gala.
Event organizers clarified that the postponement was necessary to ensure a world-class experience. According to the team, Kampala Serena Hotel required additional time to complete ongoing renovations, allowing the space to meet the prestigious standards expected of the ASFAs’ new premium direction.
A More Intimate, High-Level Setting
In a significant shift from previous editions, this year’s celebration adopts a smaller, exclusive setup hosted in one of Serena Hotel’s intimate spaces. This strategic change is designed to cultivate meaningful conversations among Africa’s most influential voices in fashion, arts, and culture.
As part of this exclusive approach:
- Only 200 public tickets will be available.
- The rest of the attendance will be strictly invite-only, extended to CEOs, cultural influencers, ambassadors, industry leaders, and key stakeholders in the creative economy.
Organizers emphasize that this curated audience will help center the dialogue on the future of the African creative sector among those shaping and investing in its growth.
