The “Zakayo” hitmaker, who previously contested for the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidency, said he is still passionate about advancing the interests of musicians.

According to Saha, his priority is not financial support from the government but the urgent need for the long-delayed copyright law and other policies that protect artists’ work.

“We need the copyright law and then start looking at policies and monitoring. I’m still available, and if they overwhelmed, let them hand over to me and I’ll demand for it in the right way — even up to Parliament,” he stated.

Saha added that he is ready to take practical action to push for these reforms, emphasizing that Ugandan musicians deserve stronger legal backing and institutional support to safeguard their creativity and livelihoods.
