Socialite and businessman Bryan White, real name Brian Kirumira, is back in the spotlight following the death of a woman at his residence in Kyamula, Makindye Division, Kampala.
Police have identified the deceased as Ms. Caroline Nalubwama, aged 25, who reportedly sustained serious injuries in an incident that occurred on Monday, October 27, 2025. She was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, detectives have since cordoned off Bryan White’s home as a crime scene to investigate what they are treating as a suspicious death.
“The territorial police at Katwe are actively investigating the circumstances under which one Nalubwama Caroline, aged 25, allegedly sustained serious injuries resulting in her death,” Owoyesigyire stated.
He further noted that a team of officers, including forensic experts, visited the scene, documented evidence, and recovered relevant exhibits to support the ongoing investigation.
Owoyesigyire added that the deceased’s body has been taken to City Mortuary Mulago for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, Bryan White, who also reportedly sustained injuries during the incident, is receiving medical treatment and has already recorded a statement with investigators.
“Efforts are underway to retrieve available CCTV footage and interview additional witnesses to piece together the actual sequence of events,” Owoyesigyire said.
Earlier reports circulating on social media suggested that Bryan White had been arrested, but police clarified that he is currently being treated as a suspect under investigation, not yet in custody.
Authorities have urged the public to remain calm and allow the investigation to proceed as detectives work to uncover the truth behind Nalubwama’s death.
