Veteran singer Stabua Natooro has urged female musicians to take inspiration from Sheebah Karungi’s decision to embrace motherhood, saying it’s important to balance fame with family life.

Speaking during an interview with BBS TV, Stabua commended Sheebah for welcoming her first child and encouraged her to have more children while still in her prime.
“Sheebah, thank you for giving birth. I pray she gives birth to more kids quickly and not wait for longer,” Stabua said. “I also request other female artists to give birth and not wait for when they stop singing — they can do both.”
The Ndi Wuwo singer emphasized that women should use the right age and time to start families, cautioning that fame should not take away the joy of motherhood.
Her comments come at a time when several female artists, including Spice Diana and Carol Nantongo, have publicly expressed their readiness to start families but say they are waiting for the right partners and timing.
Stabua’s message adds to the ongoing conversation around how female entertainers can balance their careers with personal fulfillment, particularly motherhood, in Uganda’s fast-paced music industry.
