Despite his grievances, the former Firebase Crew vice president insists he will not abandon the ruling party.

Speaking out on his struggles, Buchaman revealed that when he was appointed as a Presidential Adviser on Ghetto Affairs, he was promised several benefits including a house, a car, and a business venture to facilitate his work.

He says these promises were to be handled by a one Betty Agaba, who was later replaced before fulfilling any of the pledges.

“I was promised a house, a car, and a business, but when the person who was supposed to handle it was changed, everything stopped. The President even called the new PA to handle my matter, but until now, nothing has been done,” Buchaman lamented.

He added that while he appreciates the recognition given to him by President Museveni, the position came without funding, forcing him to struggle to carry out his duties.

“They gave me a position, but it wasn’t funded. I had to hustle to work. I’m working, but I regret so much that after being given the job, I haven’t benefited much from it,” he said.

Despite his disappointment, Buchaman reaffirmed his commitment to the NRM, saying he remains loyal to the President and his vision for the country’s ghetto communities.
