Musician Alien Skin is on the verge of losing legal control over his signature label name, Fangone Forest, after it emerged that the brand was officially registered by another individual.

According to official records from the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), the name Fangone Forest Entertainment Ltd was registered and trademarked by Agumiikiriza Aguma Aaron, a businessman who reportedly secured the rights in November 2023.

Feeling blindsided, Alien Skin has since petitioned URSB to challenge the registration, arguing that the name belongs to him and represents his musical movement.

In a letter dated 15th October 2025, URSB acknowledged his complaint and directed him to submit proof within 42 days demonstrating that he is the rightful owner of the Fangone Forest identity.

Aguma, however, insists he holds legitimate ownership of the name. Through a sworn affidavit, he claimed to have used Fangone Forest since 2011, long before Alien Skin’s breakthrough.
