Singer Fik Gaza has openly challenged fellow musician-turned-politician Bobi Wine over his decision to contest in the 2026 presidential general elections.
During a YouTube live session, Fik Gaza criticized Bobi Wine for going against his earlier stand after the 2021 general elections, where he stated that he would not allow the 2026 elections to take place under the same conditions.
According to Gaza, Bobi Wine’s new move shows inconsistency in his political approach.
Fik Gaza, who has his roots in the ghetto community just like Bobi Wine, was once one of his strong supporters.
However, in recent years, he has been seen leaning towards President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Bobi Wine’s strongest political rival.
The singer’s remarks have since sparked mixed reactions, with many weighing in on the growing rift between entertainers who venture into politics.
