Legendary Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has officially set off to join President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on the campaign trail ahead of the 2026 general elections.
This comes after the musician was handed a campaign bus to support President Museveni, the chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The bus, fully branded in NRM colors, will be used to traverse different parts of the country during the campaign season.
“To all my good friends, here is the bus, set to rally for support for Mzee Museveni for the 2026 elections. The bus is ready to swing in action, city-to-city, border-to-border,” Chameleone said while unveiling the vehicle.
The development confirms Chameleone’s strong political alignment with President Museveni and the ruling NRM, a move that is expected to spark wide reactions across the political and entertainment spheres.
