Dancehall singer Ziza Bafana has distanced himself from claims that he copies Jamaican artists. While appearing in an interview on Galaxy TV, Bafana made it clear that his approach to music is different from fellow artist Bebe Cool.

I don’t copy Jamaicans like Bebe Cool, I compete with them,” Ziza Bafana said, stressing that his style is original and inspired by competition, not imitation.

The singer, who is known for his energetic performances and unique dancehall sound, explained that he considers himself on the same level as top Jamaican stars, and that mindset pushes him to deliver better music for his fans.

Ziza Bafana has remained one of Uganda’s strongest dancehall voices, with hit songs that continue to dominate the music scene.

His remarks have sparked debate among fans, with many weighing in on the long-standing comparisons between Ugandan and Jamaican dancehall music.
