It seems like dancehall singer Richard Kasendwa aka Ziza Bafana is not about to cease his one sided attacks against fellow musician, Big Size Bebe Cool following his recent remarks during an interview on Galaxy FM.
Bafana said that thankfully he’s witchcraft proof but several musicians have tried to detail his career ever since he started singing.
The Pomini singer cited Bebe as one of the names that always rose up in chats of sabotaging his career. Bafana said that although he respects the Gagamel boss, he’s not really a good person who went an extra mile to pay the media to fail his career simply because he’s unstoppable.
Ziza Bafana went ahead to throw shade at the Hidden Agendas singer that he’s bigger than Gagamel which is even a copy and paste from Jamaican legendary singer, Buju Banton.
According to Bafana, he doesn’t copy Jamaicans like Bebe does, instead he completes with them.
Additionally, the self styled ‘katonda wa ragga’ said that the likes of Bebe can never make it internationally because of the foundations they laid in their earlier years. According to him, the legendary singer miscalculated by trying to juggle different genres instead of specializing where’s he good which is reggae.
“You see for me I thank God because I cannot be bewitched but many people have tried to stifle my career. This includes paying media not to play my music and one of the names that always arose is Bebe Cool. I love and respect him as a legend because I have learnt a lot from him such as lifestyle and showbiz.”
“However when I was starting to sing I did not ask for permission from him or come out of Gagamel. I came sang and even better them, I’m not a copycat like him because Gagamel is Buju Banton’s crew. In my case I instead compete with Jamaicans unlike Bebe who copies them. Even if he does over 8 albums, he cannot go international because the foundation be laid was a selfish one,” said Bafana.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Bafana is attacking Bebe Cool. The Cheque singer has however always maintained silence and doesn’t fire back.
Questioned about these remarks a few months ago especially when Bafana had claimed that Bebe Cool had blocked him on social media, he said that his social media pages had been hacked. Therefore Bafana was speaking out of ignorance.
