Music legend Jose Chameleone is set to headline a historic moment for Northern Uganda this December as the region prepares to unveil its first-ever state-of-the-art cinema, the only movie theatre located north of the Karuma Bridge.
His appearance underscores the significance of the grand launch, which marks a transformative step for entertainment in the region.
The cinema, housed within the renowned LA Confidential Hotel, represents a major milestone for northern Uganda’s hospitality and leisure sectors. The hotel is owned by State Minister for Trade, Hon. Evelyn Anite, who is championing the project.
The opening ceremony is expected to draw high-profile guests from across the region, with dignitaries from South Sudan, the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, and several prominent figures from northern Uganda all anticipated to attend.
With this launch, Northern Uganda is set to experience a new era of modern entertainment, bringing world-class cinema closer to its communities.
