Singer Clever J, real name Gerald Muwonge, is currently receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital after being involved in a serious car accident earlier today in Nakasongola.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred while Clever J was travelling with his team members—Power Kid, Kasozi Jeremy, and their driver, Paul Kizito.
The crash left several occupants with severe injuries. A video shared online shows Clever J lying in an ambulance, visibly in pain, while his son is seen with both legs fractured.
Power Kid also reportedly suffered critical injuries, while other team members sustained varying degrees of harm. Medical teams at Mulago Hospital are now attending to all the survivors.
Clever J, known for songs like Manzi Wanani and Ensi Yaleeta, has been a household name in the Ugandan music industry for years, with a career marked by both chart-topping hits and a celebrated comeback.
