After months of teasing and growing anticipation, Swangz Avenue star Azawi has finally unveiled The Lost Files EP.

What makes The Lost Files unique is that, unlike her previous releases, this 7-track project is a compilation of fan-demanded records — songs that didn’t make it onto her past two albums, Sankofa and African Music.

As a lead-up to the release, Azawi revisited her music vault and dropped two percussive singles, “Love Tekaawa” and “Njize Okwagala.” Following mainstream praise for their strong composition, the “Slow Dancing” hitmaker has now rolled out the full EP, reaffirming her reputation for delivering not just stories, but timeless musical gems.

Several tracks, including “Ekiri Mu Gulu,” have already gained massive traction on social media platforms like TikTok, thanks to an unconventional rollout strategy on YouTube and TikTok that triggered widespread user-generated content and heightened anticipation.

A major highlight of the project is “Feel Ok,” the only collaboration on the EP, featuring Truth 256. The blend of Azawi’s soulful vocals and Truth 256’s lyrical prowess creates a standout moment on the project.

The EP also features new tracks such as:

  • Make a Wish
  • Fed Up
  • Obuyinza

On The Lost Files, Azawi teams up with producers Kusseim, Bangar Boi, Nessim, and Groovy World.

The Lost Files is now available on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.
