Singer Cindy Sanyu has proudly stated that no female artist in Uganda has managed to successfully juggle being a wife, mother, leader, and consistent top performer the way she has.
Speaking during a recent TV interview, the self-proclaimed King Herself said her work ethic and discipline have allowed her to stay on top of her career despite life’s changing phases.
Cindy emphasized that her brand is built on individuality, not on relationships or family ties — something she believes sets her apart from many others in the industry.
“My brand isn’t a family thing; it’s a personal thing. The Cindy you see on stage develops on her own. It doesn’t matter what’s around me or who I’m dating. Everything can change, but Cindy remains the same,” she explained.
She further revealed that she has learned to balance her personal and professional roles, including being Mrs. Okuyo and a mother, without letting either compromise her artistry.
“I found a way to master how to handle the King Herself alongside my duties as a wife and mother,” Cindy added.
