South Africa-based Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has advised women to avoid having children if they are financially unstable.
In a bold statement, Zari cautioned women against giving birth out of love or emotions when they lack the means to raise their children independently. She emphasized that in today’s world, love alone is not enough to sustain a family.
“You need to be financially stable that if this guy is gonna walk out, you got your sh*t together,” Zari said. “There are a lot of women out here who are suffering and have been thrown into deep holes they can’t even take themselves out of because they used to love the man.”
Zari went on to stress that relationships based purely on affection and sexual pleasure often leave women in difficult situations when things fall apart.
“Sexual pleasures and love alone aren’t what make a future,” she continued. “If there’s no money, there shouldn’t be a reason to have kids. If you cannot personally take care of your child, terminate it.”
