Singer Nina Roz has expressed gratitude to her fellow musicians who have supported her political journey without demanding any payment.
Nina, who was officially nominated on Wednesday to contest for the Sembabule Woman Member of Parliament seat under the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, revealed that her campaign is centered on the people rather than money.
“I can’t measure how much I have invested so far, but it’s a lot. However, what’s important is that I have put in my time — and time is priceless,” Nina shared.
The singer-turned-politician emphasized that her campaign is driven by genuine connection and community engagement, not financial influence. She also expressed confidence in her progress and determination to emerge victorious.
“I’m proud of how far I’ve come and I believe I will triumph,” she said, adding that she continues to balance her music career with her political aspirations.
“I will keep singing as I campaign. In fact, it has been easier for me because I have received support from my party and my colleagues in the music industry,” she noted.
