In it, Kenzo was heard saying he did not want the Federation to clash with the Ministry and that stepping down might be the only option if the confusion continued.

Speaking to journalists, Kenzo clarified that the conversation was part of an internal communication with UNMF members and not a public statement. He said some people had intentionally misrepresented his words to create tension and discredit his leadership.

He explained that the Federation must be allowed to fulfill its duties independently, while government ministries also operate within their own boundaries.

According to Kenzo, unnecessary interference only threatens the unity and progress of the musicians’ body.

Kenzo revealed that after a virtual meeting with Federation members and consultations with several government officials, he was advised to remain patient as ongoing issues are being resolved.

“I spoke to the members, and they told me to first wait. I also received calls from big people who advised me not to rush. So we’re okay now — I’m still here.”
